Overview & Adding a New Client
Hello there, I want to welcome you to the tutorials for the Qualitate application. Before we get into the Qualitate application, I just want to give you a little bit of overview of how this application can really change your business, and if you are an advisor or a team member. So this application will create amazing deliverables, where you're documenting the qualitative aspect of your client's life, so that you can marry that with any other type of assessment you're doing for a client, if it's risk, if it's insurance, if it's investments, if it's tax or legal planning. So, it creates great deliverables around vision, values, goals, getting into Goal Achievement, Planning Map, and then you can create great reports running them individually or running them as a collective group of reports in our Report Builder here.
So, let me jump in and start out by just talking about how to add a new client. So, once you enter into the application and log in, the first thing that opens up is the dashboard. And here on this dashboard, you'll see a number of new clients, new goals, closed goals. And on the right side, you'll see all the clients that you've entered.
If it's the first time you're coming into the application, you'll see a list of client names on the right side here. On the right side a little bit further, you'll see a green button here that said, "Add a new client." This is how you add new clients. Let's click on "Add a new client." What comes up is the client form, where you're entering in your client. Now under the client name here in the first field, we recommend you putting in the entity name. So, if it's a family, put the Anderson Family, if it's a business, put the business name in there. Later, we'll show you how to enter in the members of the family or the members of that business that you're working with. So, let's start out by putting in the Anderson family. Now, in some situations you might be working with just one individual, so you can put their whole name right in here. And then later, we can show you how to enter in their name in the member section as well.
Now under Discovery Meeting Date here, that is the meeting date that you did discovery with the client. Discovery and fact finding. It's not the engagement date, it's the date that you sat down with the client and uncovered their what and why that's driving all of their decision making. So, from this situation, we met with the client last Tuesday, on the 13th, and we enter that information in here.
The next required field, which there's only two, client name and advisor. Recommend to put the discovery meeting date in as I just mentioned. And you have the client's name. Now, if you have more than one advisor associated with your Qualitate subscription here, you can have those names right in there. In this situation, we're picking Bill Daley as the advisor. Now, if there is some joint work that you're doing, and there's more than one advisor's name that you want to put on here, you could scroll down to the bottom and enter in that co-advisor, so both advisors' name show up on the reports.
In between here, you'll have address, city, state, email address. Many of you have your own CRM so you don't need to duplicate it. They're not required fields, but if you want to enter in here to have it into the system, you can enter that information in there. And then you scroll down to the bottom and click Save. You'll see a pop-up box come up, that'll let you know that you successfully added that. You press Okay, and then now you see the Anderson Family in your selection of all your clients. And on the far right, you click Select, and that's how you get into the application to enter in their vision, their values, their goals, create a Planning Map.
