Lesson 3 | Entering in Vision Statements (1:49 minutes)
Entering in Vision Statements
So now we're gonna talk about Vision statements. So going to the left navigation you click on this where it says Vision, and it opens up the form here. And you can see the breadcrumbs across the top of Homepage, Clients, Anderson Family, and Vision, and you click Edit. The field opens up as just like a Word document. We have an open box we can start typing in the individual's Vision statements.
And you enter in the information right in here, the Vision statement. And it's just like a Word document where you can bold things, and so forth. And you end up having a sentence structure here with a couple of sentences. And remember the first time you do a Vision statement with a client it may not seem so robust. You might've wrote down some great information, but then when you're typing it in here saying it doesn't seem that significant. Most families, and business owners have never gone through the exercise, and don't have a clear Vision. So create it, and it's part of the plan, and then it will evolve as things go. So in some situations you might have many sentences sometimes you have only a couple. You add it in there, and you click Save. The system will let you know that it's been successfully saved.
You press OK. And if you wanna look at the actual report itself before printing an entire plan you can scroll down to the Reports section, click Reports, go to where it says Vision Profile, View then it will generate the report, and you can bring up the report here. And now you see the Vision Profile for the Anderson Family, and their Vision statement. Straightforward, great exercise, and a great tool to do for the first plan, and every plan thereafter.
