Lesson 9 | Team Profile (2:17 minutes)
Team Profile
Now, let's talk about the client's team. So if you use the Team Profile tool where you're writing down who is sitting at the client's table, using that metaphor, that are influencing the client's decisions. So, to add team members, you go right over on the left navigation and click on Team and go Add Team Members. This is where you'll add in the team members, so I'm going to add in Matt Sullivan. His responsibility is that he is the CPA, and he was referred by Rob Falvey. Oops, sorry about that. Let me click that on there. Then we can put notes that say, Rob Falvey ... oops, typing a little too fast, is a family friend who has helped build the team, and click Save. Then we can add in another team member, Steve Bennett, who is attorney, and he also was referred in, but he was referred in from Matt Sullivan, who is the CPA.
So, the client has those two members and that means who has builds their team and who has supported them. What we do next is go down to the reports section here, and you go to the Team Profile tool, click on View. The system will generate the Team Profile Report. We download that. Now we upload that and now you're viewing the Team Profile where you can share this with a client to talk about their virtual team and the approach of creating a team. They don't all have to work for the same firm, and we have those individuals' names down here, and we have that Team Profile report. It's a great tool to use. It's a great tool part of the approach, and then you have the documented team members and their role.
