Action Plan for Success

So, I want to talk about the Action Plan for Success that we've put together as a part of this program. Before I get into that and the things you need to do, I want to share with you a magic formula around learning.

The magic formula is basically 10/24/7. This is a magic padlock for instilling the time that you spent, the energy you spent, the dollars you've spent to engage in this LINK course actually become part of you. They become part of your business, part of your approach, and that you ultimately get the results that you're after in the work that you're doing with your clients for your business.

So, the formula works like this. The 10 represents 10 minutes. We've designed the LINK program in a way that, as you go through sections of the course material, you're tested along the way to ensure that you're actually ingraining inside of you the teachings, the moments, what we're trying to help you understand. So that 10 minutes is on us. That's embedded into this system.

The second part is within 24 hours. You will see in the course there's reading that you have to do, articles, white papers. There's modules that you have to review and the videos and the things that you've done along the way. 24 hours means, within 24 hours you have to go back to the content. We review and we share and we test.

The last part is seven days. At the completion of this course, if you don't go back through the course materials and begin to deploy what it is you've been taught and integrate that into your practices and your approaches, there's a good percentage of what it is you've been through that's going to be left behind. So, I want to urge you to use that thinking, use that magic passcode for learning to instill what we've shared with you through the LINK course into your business, into your behaviors, into the work that you're doing with your clients.

When you look at the Action Plan for Success that we've put together here, there are some immediate actions that you need to be looking at as you think about, what is it you're going to do as you leave this course. You have to look at, what are some of the things that are going to be areas that are going to present some challenges for you, and you have to define outcomes that are going to help you to overcome that. There will be obstacles, but how are you actually going to overcome those obstacles? What are the strategies going to be?You have to look at, how are you going to go about and create the time, create the opportunities, create the actions for you to actually implement the things that we're teaching in this course? You will see these sections spelled out for you in the Action Plan for Success. I want to see you take the time to go through and complete that documentation, to go through and spend the time, commit the time to figure out ways to come over your obstacles and to define the ways in which you're going to implement and hopefully embed these best practices for collaboration into the work that you're doing each and every day.

The final portion of this is to complete the client prospect identifier. You have existing client relationships today that bringing collaboration to will make all the world of difference. You've got prospects out there in your community, around the country that you've been thinking about, "How can I get in front of them? What can I bring? What can I say? What should my approach be?" And through the time you've spent going through the LINK course, you have identified opportunities, language, approaches that will allow you to go into those prospective relationships and have an entirely different conversation.

I urge you to take the time to go through this Action Plan for Success. Don't let the time you've spent, the money you invested, be another program that sits on your bookshelf. This will make a difference. This will create opportunities, and this will be a significant enhancement to your business.
